Summarize app
Summarize is the first app that is launched at fileformat.ai. As the name tells, you can generate summary of a document with this app. The summary will be generated by AI.
The summarize app currently works with the following types of files.
- Word documents (docx, doc, odt, txt)
- PDF documents
- PowerPoint presentations (ppt, pptx, odp)
- Email (msg, eml)
You can generate the summary in two simple steps. Just upload your file at fileformat.ai. It will take few seconds for the AI engine, after that you will get the download link to the text file, which contains the summary of the document.
You have the option to generate the summary in the following ways.

- One paragraph
- Single line
