How AI can summarize a PDF file or book?
The summarize app uses the most powerfull OpenAI engine to generate the summary of PDF files. Just upload your PDF document and choose the summary format (one page, paragraph or line). In few seconds the app will feed the PDF content to the AI and create the summary in text format. You can download the summary file and save it in your computer.
AI can help you greatly if you have more than one PDF files or books about the same topic. You can use AI to generate summary of all the files and may get a better idea about which book/document to read. Of course you may read author’s introduction or search internet about the reviews of the book. But AI can also help deciding you choose, about which book to read, by generating a short summary of each PDF.
Steps to Generate the Summary
The app is online and works on the latest internet browsers like Chrome, Firefox etc. Open https://products.fileformat.ai/pdf/summarize/ in your browser.
The first step is to upload the PDF file. You can easily drag and drop the PDF from your computer to the website. Or click on upload button and choose the file from your disk.
As an example I will use this pdf and upload it to the app. After I select the file, the app will give 3 options to generate the summary.
- One page
- One paragraph
- One line
You can choose any option. In this example, I will select one page and click on Summarize button.
Wait for few seconds, your file will be uploaded. The AI will read your file and process it to generate the summary. Once the summary is generated, the app will show a Download button. Click on the download button and save the summary file in txt format to your local computer.
